Jules Gabriel Verne (1828-1905) was a French author who pioneered the science-fiction genre. He is best known for novels such as Journey to the Centre of the Earth (1864), Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870), and Around the World in Eighty Days (1873). A very complicated book, that I don't really feel was intended just for the average reader, although, I can't allow my own lack of knowledge over the subject affect my review. This book I about exactly what it states, a voyage in a balloon, I came into it believing it was chronicling the voyage of the men who landed on the island in the book "The Mysterious Island"... It doesn't, not even close, still, it was an interesting read, and worth the time spent on it.Product details

A Voyage in a Balloon Jules Verne Edibooks 9781532706950 Books Reviews
read it as a child and was trilled
read it as an old fool and loved it
age does not matter
Don't bother with this version. The punctuation and paragraph spacing are entirely messed up making it too difficult to read. For example all the quotation marks and apostrophes appear as question marks and each paragraph is separated by three to five lines.
Hi
This is a dull book in comparison, to the others which were written by the same author
Possibly would appeal to the younger reader
Very good book. Read it several times. You will nver go wrong with Verne, Plus it is free. What else can you ask for? + +
